Gifski for MAC
Free Mac app that turns videos into high-quality animated GIFs, with thousands of colours per frame. Open source.
Gifski Overview
Gifski turns your videos into beautiful animated GIFs. Drop in a video, such as a screen recording, and Gifski converts it using the gifski encoder, which picks thousands of colours for every frame instead of the usual few hundred, so GIFs look smooth and sharp. You can trim the video, crop it, change the size, frame rate and quality, and see the result and the file size before saving. Gifski is made by Sindre Sorhus, using the gifski encoder by Kornel Lesiński.
Gifski is free, with no ads or in-app purchases, and open source under the MIT license. It is available on the Mac App Store; the current version, 3.0.6, needs macOS 26 or later. It also adds a Share extension, so you can convert videos straight from other apps.
